My short online meditation sessions use an innovative 5 step approach to introduce you to a wide variety of meditation practices. The 5 step approach which underlies every session is ideal for ultimately learning to meditate without guided practice. It suits beginners as well as people with some experience of meditation. I can deliver courses one-to-one or in groups.
The first course is 5 Step Meditation (Part 1) and is 8 half hour sessions.* The sessions include mindfulness, visualisation, mantra, progressive muscular relaxation and breathing exercises. Each session includes time for discussion. Audios and summaries of the guided meditations can be sent to you after each session. If you enjoy Part 1 there is a second course, 5 Step Meditation (Part 2): an additional 8 half hour sessions, which includes mindful movement, compassion, yoga breathing exercises, mindful drinking and meditating on a object.* Otherwise you might like to try mindfulness-based relaxation therapy (MBRT) which is a brief course of just 5 of the half hour sessions.*
*You can sign up for one session at a time to check if this method suits you. The cost is £10 per session for one-to-one, £20 per session for 2 people or £30 per session for groups of up to 10. Larger groups can be discussed.
